Pokemon D/P/Pt

Yeah, I'm a poke-nerd, and I just got Pokemon Platinum on the 19th, and I really like it =D

I've been playing pokemon since Red/Blue, though the first one I ever owned was pkmn Silver I think.

Anyways, who here has a DS/DS lite/DSi and has either Diamond/Pearl/Platinum?
And what are your thoughts about it?

i have the original ds and pokemon diamond, but i mainly play zelda. =P

I like zelda too, but the DS zelda games look a little odd to me =/
Plus I just recently got the ds too, so this was my first choice on what game I should get =P lol

Anyways, I really like the changes from Diamond/Pearl to Platinum.

hm. hows platinum? ive never seen it. and zelda looks weird becaause they used toon link for it. xP do you have phantom hourglass?

I don't have any of the DS zelda games =/ platinum is the only game I have atm.

btw, I happen to like the wind-waker link =P
I just don't like how they made him look in phantom hourglass or the train one( I forget it's name)
Like they could have made him look better, plus I wanted more of that link on the wii >.< instead of the ds.

well, phantom hourglass is really fun.. and difficult. =x i almost died twice on one of the bosses. i owned him anyway though. next ds game you get should be phantom hourglass!! ;D

OMG dont say that. xD my dad used to call pokemon pokeman and it was so annoying. xD ok then by now all of my underground things are probably 99. you cant go underground on wifi though can you?

Um, I've never connected to anyone with the underground thing, but it may only work with people who are in your area.
I'd have to go look it up or something.

i think underground is local wifi only.. >_> which really stinks.

does platinum have the same map?

It's like how emerald was to ruby and sapphire.

It's the "director's cut" version of Diamond/Pearl, changed to have more similarities to the anime.

Its the biggest waste of money and time EVER. The dungeons are bland, the bosses are way too easy, and the graphics (although not HORRIBLE) are half-assed. Nintendo can do better, phantom hourglass is an example of wat happens when nintendo decides that quality is second to profit.

I love pokemon platinum, i have been playing since age 3 when i got my first game, red version. I like silver/gold/crystal the best.

i have wifi and in my trainer card in my sig you can find my wifi code. i want battles my pokemon are hungry for blood D:<

though I don't use my own wireless, most of the time since we use WPA and DS lites can't connect with WPA, so I just borrow someone elses wireless =P

Anyways, you should go check out the news about Heart Gold and Soul Silver =) the remakes of G/S/C that are coming out in Japan on September.
From what I've seen, they're gonna be awesome.

yeah, i've been watching that since the beginning I just hope the remakes are more epic than the originals!

I bought them mostly to defy my dad who hates japanimation. (stupid term :l) I was pretty damned surprised when I first played fire red.

I used to play Pokemon Diamond a lot. Then I beat it. Then I got bored. Before my DS broke, the games I mainly played were the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games (which are visual-novel adventure games, it's pretty fun).

I used to read about Ace Attorney when i had nintendo power (it looked like a pretty good game) but i never got it. instead, i bought freaking awesome "LUNAR KNIGHTS"
