Snowland Red Skies: Battle Arena MY WINTER COMP GAME

SNOWLAND

Hey there!
Although winter is over and the comp may or may not be I've still manage to finish my comp game. DD has been helping me with the converting since GM7 PRO gave me a virus but, overall it's been a ok 3 to 4 months on this. Orginally this was a adventure/shooter but, the orginal file was erased. Luckly, I had some old data and ran with the story but, created a quick/fun little "war-based" game.
So hows the gameplay?
The game is pretty rough around some edges due to particles, snow, ai calculation and blood-sheed the game will sometimes have "frame-rate-issues" (I think that's what you call'em) which will slow down the game (don't worry the room speed is set to 60 so you won't be constantly slowed down). This issue mostly occurs whenyou chainsaw characters and blood comes out ALOT OF BLOOD. Rest assured this isn't a BIG problem and it can be AVOIDED.

Besides that the game is pretty solid. You'll have a squad to back you up, and Gyrald (the guy that stands out, you'll see him) can even chainsaw enemies when he's apart of the ai force! You can play Co-Op too and punish a RED 1-on-1! There's much to do.

Press F1 for them but, if you must know it's:
Player 1:
Space = shoot
C = Chainsaw
Arrow keys = Move
Enter = Pause menu

Player 2:
O = shoot
M = Chainsaw
WAD = Move

Thank you everyone. It has come to my attention that there has been a glitch found, one that screws War mode and Slayer. I've fixed it and as soon as DD can convert it, the sooner you'll be able a glitch-free Snowland game. Thank you.

Recently I reuploaded it to yoyogames with all the glitches out and better graphics. I don't have a alternate for the current game. Thanks to Robo for the graphics.

Whoever rated this a 2 should play again. It's way better now.

GREAT NEWS, after downloading the evil pro again I've gotten to work on a update to Snowland. Here's what's in it;

Less to no lag (except when there's lots going on, which I toned it down a bit
Refined A.I.
Improved Slayer mode
Chat (for online purposes - talk - set up matches??)
(HOPEFULLY) Snowland Advanced Pong! :affraid: (It's a edit of the online pong but, with a twist. :D )
Practice mode (don't know if I'll be adding a tutorial...)

Expect these updates by tommorow morning on 12'oclock launch time!

I'll upload it to yoyogames at launchtime (12:00 for all you who just don't know how to tell time.). I warn you, the online mode hasn't been tested yet. Online will be a slayer mode instead of pong (might add a pong match too.)

Please I need online testers. Get online and host a game (choose connect TCP/IP and don't enter anything) and create a match. Tell me when your on.

As for the other modes, I have tested them. Only war mode really has lag but, the lag has been minimized to better performance. The other modes are back and better and no lag! (Unless you start chainsaw masscares for a long period of time. But, the lag isn't as noticable.) :cheers:

Oh and I added a story mode too. (It's short though)
