No more Mod elections Empty No more Mod elections

Post by Seikakaze 2009-05-01, 2:20 am

Right first of all as Jango has said we don't need mods right now so don't ask to be mod or start making election topics, however when we do need mods I don't think it should be an election left to the members, we should all PM Jango (no don't PM him unless he says to, or it's not about this) with our reasons for wanting to be mod and then after a week Jango should decide who he wants to be mod.

AkmaEdit: I stickied this so everyone can see it. So yeah, no more mod election topics.

Thanks for the (reasonble) reply, as you are aware we are practically remaking DDNN here, and even though what you said wasn't harsh it still may cause a flame war which we should be stricter against.

I dont think there will even be member voting elections. It should be up to the admins and the mods to make the decision, though mod hopefulls will be able to post a topic and campaign i suppose. There wont be a new mod for a while though.
EDIT: oh and sinister youd better start being REALLY good now if you want to be a mod because I was stuck deleting everyone of your alts yesterday .

Exctly what I said, it's better left to the admin and mods.

Why is Akmayo still a moderator? Didn't he call us all Dumbasses? oh well.

Well we should have at least one other mod since Jango is an admin now.

I didn't say you did anything wrong I was actually thanking you for replying in that way, when you might of replied in some ther way, and AracnoX, Akmayo remains a mod unless he does something seriously bad, just calling us dumbasses isn't bad enough to strip his powers, (athough if he continues Jango might consider it) also we have enough mods for now, Jango will tell us when he wants some more.
