Introduction
Q: What is Age of Warz?
A: Age of Warz is the successor to Snowland. Not nesscearly a sequal but, a secessor nonetheless. Same characters - new story. New world - NO SNOW.

Q: Woooh! Sounds cool! But, the last game's story mode ended the conflict with the "Reds!"
A: It's true but, in this game Tedius and Gyrald are the last survivors of the events in the last game. Basiclly the others die. And the Reds actually come AGAIN with reinenforcements. This time bigger armies and new allies on their side. The events of the last game have also been changed around plot-wise. The area is not snowy anymore, it's a wasteland, for the reds have taken it over. Thus, the reason why it's no longer Snowland but, a starting of a gigantic war - starting of a age of war!

Q: When should it be done?
A: I HOPE AUGUEST FOR THE COMP! :D

Q: So Tedius and Gyrald are the only characters left hows this gonna work?
A: Basiclly when I started the concept for the game I thought firstly of what I said here at DDNN about the comp and stuff. FOr this competition Co-Ops the game and you've really got to come with a expierence that enhances CO-Op and stresses it to the point where player are breathing down each others neck. And that's the basis of the game. Tedius and Gyrald will have to work together in new ways in order to defeat the new enimies that lie in the Red army.


Q: How will the co-op be stressed?
A: I got most of my inspiration from Gears of War for the first Snowland game but, now I'm drawing from my expierence playing game's like army of two, and loco-roco and platoon. Here's a quick example, player 1 is Tedius. Player 2 is Gyrald. And basiclly in combat your friend might need to plant a bomb on a area of a base for example. There's enimies everywhere so how can you do it? Simple, see with the "blind sight strategy". This is where one player attracts the attention of the bots to them. (Attracted attention in the game will be called "Reiki". So one player has all the Reki on them the player is like invisable to the ai so he can sneak around and get the job done.

Q: What kinda engine's gonna be used? The same from Snowland or a newly built one from the ground up?
A: You'll probaly notice it in-game that the control is almost the same as my recent shooter: Prototype. Uses the same A.I. as Prototype as well but, with big tweaks. The enemy can now chainsaw you and the ai knows when to run away on the fly now. The control of the character is alot faster than in Snowland or Prototype and it's alot smoother shooter all around.

The equipment has advanced since last game. With the new equipment came new weaponry and a killer new look! See new avatar for the new Tedius)



(The Brute is playable in one of the last chapters. What happens is player two controls the turrent and player one does the movement.)

Medieval.. lol.

Combine that with Fantasy... you got:

Magicians
Warriors
Bowmen
Dragons
Goblins, Orges, Thing that are normally tiny but are extremely large (Example: Spiders)
Other random Monsters
The ability to weild outrageously large weapons
The ability to weild 2 weapons at a time...

Other crazy stuff...

I love fantasy, it's got no true structure and the possibilities are endless. :D

I did get some work done on the game but, there's a error that shows up when you pause the game and goto controls. Can anyone tell me how to fix this:

when you say game_info you need to add the () to turn it into a function other wise it will be considered a variable

Don't worry about it I got it working now. I'm currently reworking a menu example for the mainmenu and I'm about to work in a boss fight with a dragon. The dragon will use a bigger better ai (janner platforming ai) and you'll have to attack it's weakspot to damage it. Getting to close will make him use shockwaves around him that push you back.

It's simple really, (took me about 30 or so minutes to do but..) I have alot of time on my hand. I never really leave the house. jk or maybe not

I've changed the graphics for the flagship! (Looks really good surprisingly.) :D
I'm currently trying to work on another "boss" or big battle for the naval rock area.
